ATTEND OUR HOMEBUYER EDUCATION CLASS

You must attend our homebuyer education class, sponsored by the Washington State Housing Finance Committee (WSHFC), and is free of charge. It will provide you with the steps to buying your first home. You will receive a certificate, upon completion of the class, valid for two years for the homebuying process. The class is a requirement, in order to be eligible to receive state subsidized loan and down payment assistance programs.

In order to see what you qualify for, you'll need to meet with a WSHFC certified loan specialist. This knowledgeable loan officer will assist you in finding the right loan type that will work with the House-Key Program. Our mortgage professionals know the income and acquisition costs limits required by the WSHFC.

Once you know how much you qualify for, it is time to look for your first home purchase! Your loan officer and real estate broker will work closely with you to locate and finance your first home.
